Default Monster snake invades New York

Monster snake invades New York

New York commuters at Grand Central Station were greeted by a monstrous sight.

And no, it wasn't Dumbo in drag....

A 48-foot-long, 2,500-pound titanoboa snake greeted New York commuters.

Although, it was a full-scale replica of the reptile, Smithsonian spokesperson Randall Kremer said it was intended to "scare the daylights out of people." –

Up close, the snake is waist-high and is the length of a bus.

This newly discovered species, known as titanoboa lived 65 million years ago.

Let’s hope our commnter officials don’t get the same idea.
