GEORGE TOWN - Police raided a gay fitness centre in Pulau Tikus here where patrons are required to show their private parts before they are allowed entry.

The centre was only known in the gay community through word of mouth. And those who did not know how to "flash" their manhood would be denied entry.

Two men, in their 30s, were caught in a compromising position when a police team stormed into the unlicensed centre which had been raided at least 15 times over the past few years.

Police also seized a laptop, a pornographic VCD, two bottles of lubricant, a bottle of mouthwash and a towel in the 4.30pm raid on Thursday.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Gan Kong Meng said the case was being investigated under Section 377 (B) of the Penal Code for committing carnal intercourse.

"We will write to the Penang Municipal Council to seal the place. We will also advise the council to cut water and electricity supply to the centre.
