Taiwan judge told Ang Moh pastor Peter that since he had been a pastor for more than 10 years he should fully be aware that a middle finger sign in Taiwan means a dirty insult. So he is sentenced to 5 days in jail and compensate NT2000 to a woman who he insulted over a dispute.

Peter walked his dog in the street and his dog frightened the woman who chased off his dog, Peter got angry and pointed middle finger.

新北市一名外籍牧師，遛狗和人起衝突，居然比中指，被告上法院。牧師辯稱，加拿大比中指，代表很多種意思， 不一定是侮辱對方，但法官認為，他來台灣十年，一定知道，比中指就是罵髒話的意思，因此判他敗訴，拘役五天 還要賠2000元。

加拿大牧師Peter，不滿遛狗被趕，比出中指，讓陳小姐抓狂，認為這等於罵她髒話。神職人員比出不雅手勢 ，儘管事後寫了道歉信，但只對台灣法律道歉，對於陳小姐的感受，隻字未提。因此陳小姐要告到底 。

她和外籍牧師就在新店這處山區發生衝突，這名來台傳教十多年的牧師，因為遛狗吃上官司，也有話要說。Pet er仍然不覺得自己有錯，但法官認定，他既然來台灣超過十年，一定知道，比中指在這裡有什麼負面涵義，因此 判他拘役五天，還得賠陳小姐2000元。
