And no, that headline wasn't ripped out of the latest issue of The Onion either!
You can't make this stuff up... Hungary far-right leader discovers Jewish roots - Yahoo! News snippet: As a rising star in Hungary's far-right Jobbik Party, Csanad Szegedi was notorious for his incendiary comments on Jews: He accused them of "buying up" the country, railed about the "Jewishness" of the political elite and claimed Jews were desecrating national symbols. Then came a revelation that knocked him off his perch as ultra-nationalist standard-bearer: Szegedi himself is a Jew. Following weeks of Internet rumors, Szegedi acknowledged in June that his grandparents on his mother's side were Jews — making him one too under Jewish law, even though he doesn't practice the faith. His grandmother was an Auschwitz survivor and his grandfather a veteran of forced labor camps. Since then, the 30-year-old has become a pariah in Jobbik and his political career is on the brink of collapse. He declined to be interviewed for this story. |

No more ironic than an American Jew who votes Democrat. We both know that the Democratic party of the FDR era is not the same as the Democratic party of today. The same how the Republican party today is quite the opposite of the party of Lincoln. |

No more ironic than an American Jew who votes Democrat. If you believe people should work till they die to pay for a government worker to retire at 50, you're a Democrat. Otherwise, you're a Republican. All other differences between the parties are trivial. |

Obviously right on the money, though, as you two had to immediately resort to ad hominem attacks. So typical.
FYI, Dayman, the anti-semitic Democratic party I speak of is the MODERN Democratic party. Read up on Jim Moran, Cynthia McKinney, and the general anti-semitism of the Progressive philosophy. |

Obviously you can't reconcile your two statements, then. So typical. Edit: Ah, I get it! If you don't believe to work all your life to pay for some dbag to retire at 50 with a full pension and top-shelf benefits, you're an not an anti-Semite. Otherwise you are. Still don't get the Politburo connection but oh, well, logic obviously isn't a requirement for those on the left, now is it? |

How is the anti-Semitism of the modern Democratic party supposed to settle with the fact that if you think you should have to work the rest of your life to pay a government worker to retire at 50? Are you implying those who get pensions are anti-Semites? Or those who work to pay for those excellent government benefits are not? Perhaps you need to look up the word "reconcile" and get back to me. 1) You claim, in every single post, that there is only one difference between the parties, and it relates to public worker benefits. 2) You then claim, in several posts here, that Democrats are anti-semitic and any reasonable reader is to presume that the GOP is not anti-semitic. The two cannot both be true. (And one very obviously isn't, but keep at it, I love when you guys go full crazy) |

I'll spell it out, since you very clearly don't get it.. trivial Example Sentences Origin triv·i·al [triv-ee-uhl] Show IPA adjective 1. of very little importance or value; insignificant: Don't bother me with trivial matters. 2. commonplace; ordinary. Trivial | Define Trivial at Dictionary.com |

And no, that headline wasn't ripped out of the latest issue of The Onion either! In light of the discovery, Szegedi left his wife, citing that she was a "Jew lover." OK, I made that part up. |

Where did I attack you? You do like to get your digs in at the Democratic party. You know I don't like EITHER party - I just am a stickler for facts |

Does Cynthia McKinney's anti-Semitism lower your taxes? Did Trent Lott's alleged racism put food on your table? |

So anti-semitism and racism (and apparently any non-economic issue) are 'trivial', except when you want to make a partisan comment completely unrelated to the topic at hand. Thanks for clearing things up. |
