Old news but I couldn't find it mentioned previously on the boards. Basically, Mukesh Ambani has 50 billion to spend and built an amazing house names Antilia (Wikipedia). It's a pretty interesting building, even if a tad ostentatious.

It's not much different than the other homes of the super-rich except that it's a tower. Cost 44M Euros to build but because
of land values is now worth about a billion. I'd prefer the sprawling acreage of an estate myself but he most likely has that too.

IMO, overall it's in bad taste for him to build this in the heart of Mumbai, where mere yards out of his front door there is utter poverty and so many in the city lack even the most basic of accommodations. Other Indian billionaires have taken a page out of Buffett's and Gates' books and pledged big parts of their fortunes towards alleviating major social issues affecting India. Both the Ambani brothers need to get their heads out of their asses and do something that will make their diseased father (and the guy who went from rags to riches in India's version of Andrew Carnegie) proud. Anil Ambani, the younger brother, is an even bigger tool, IMO...
