It is quite evident that for the first time in 40 years Israel has made their security a
bargaining chip with this most recent deal, according to the Washington Post.
This is a new approach as previous to this it was understood that the United States
would support Israel come hell or high water.
This three month moratorium on settlement building, which the US taxpayers are paying
3 billion $ for, along with another couple billion in 20 free F-15 Fighter aircraft, is contin-
gent that the US will not mandate further settlement restrictions after the 3 months.

The only reason I like this deal is the one pointed out by the WP: Your security is now
negotiable.
