Naples/Italy Police arrest Camorra boss The Italian police are a blow against the Neapolitan Camorra succeeded. A mobile task force arrested the alleged clan boss Nicola Schiavone. He was for a year on the run. Nicola Schiavone was arrested on Tuesday at his villa south of Naples, like the local police said. The 32-year-old is suspected of having taken over from his father's infamous "Sandokan", serving a life sentence. Schiavone said to have ordered, inter alia, the murder of three breakaway clan members. According to a TV station Schiavone provided no resistance. Schiavone was a month after the discovery of the bodies of the murdered "deserters" and has been in hiding for a year now on the run. |
