This is great, the Taliban is getting hit big on two fronts. They will not know whether to poop or go blind. We cannot forget Al Qaeda in Yemen though.

How is this possible, with a President who is so soft on terror that he needs to be scolded by Dick "War Crimes" and Liz "My Papa Done No Wrong" Cheney every Sunday?

And God bless our President for taking the fight to the Taliban in Afghanistan and for forging greater co-operation with Pakistani authorities.

I am so glad to have a president who felt the need to actually focus our fight against terrorism to our real enemies in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

This is definitely a feather in Obama's cap. If he can get some of this stuff wrapped up, it will be good for him (and the U.S.).

I don't know. Michael Steele doesn't call me to let me know their plans.

Politicians will do what they think is the best political result, typically.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the group's No. 2 leader behind Afghan Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar Isn't this about the 800th "number 2 leader" to be captured or killed so far?

I'm convinced the AQ and Taliban ranking structure goes something like this:

- That guy who drove OBL around
- Number 2 commanders
- Osama Bin Laden

No, we've only captured a bunch of No. 3 guys before.

But seriously, this guy appears to be the real deal -- I even read about him before he was captured.

FWIW read the link that the OP provided and you'll see that he was the number two guy from 9/11 on, he is the real deal. There is some hope that we may still get OBL and/or Omar.

Can we drop one on you?

I would personally fly it over the next tea party convention.

Wrong Cheney sister.

Liz is the charming one who claimed we don't torture even though her father admited this weekend that he championed waterboarding.

While I don't agree with the President on his economic policies whatsoever, this is definitely good work by him. I am satisfied with the way he has handled the situation with the Taliban and Al Queda so far. Good job and God Bless our Troops.
