Default Slovakia vs. Russia
I guess this will be at 12:00AM on the E. Coast time.

The Slovak Team beat the Russian Team for the World Championship in 2002. The whole game was rebroadcast here at New Year's.

Gonna be tough for Slovakia to beat the Ruskies. They were just beaten by the Czech's last night and theyre kinda getting screwed since the Ruskies have had a day off. Ill be pulling for Slovakia though.

The US better score some more goals if they want to get the bye for the next round.

Well, it's another grudge match. The Russians don't want to lose to the little Slovak Rep., and the Slovaks want to defeat the Russians again but this time with the whole world watching.

Good Russian teamwork throughout the game. The Slovaks seemed to be a little tired. Regulation time ended in a tie, with OT in a tie, but the Slovaks do it in a shoot out.

Marian Hossa of Stara Lubovna scored the only regulation time goal for the Slovaks.

Vyborne!
