Islamic scholars issue fatwa forbidding Muslim-Americans from using full-body airport scanners
I am loving Islam more by the day. What other religion out there issues fatwas whenever the government encroaches on my civil liberties? |

yeah until they blow up another plane.
I guess its ok to violate other peoples civil liberties because people are too cowardly to tell the muslims to go pound sand up their asses. Islamic scholars issue fatwa forbidding Muslim-Americans from using full-body airport scanners |

They can always take a bus or swim. Flying is just one of many choices. I tell ya... I would demand a lot higher pay if I was forced to look at nudies of airport passengers, especially PHL passengers, all day. Who wants to sit at a computer terminal with lots of muffin tops and flaccid penises scrolling across the screen looking for bombs. |

That kind of stuff is just "security theater" than real security. Body scanners are okay I guess, but that drives drives terrorists to innovate ways to avoid them. Same with racial profiling - just get someone who doesn't fit the profile to do it.
Real security is random checks even if it means grandma sometimes gets picked, because they can't adjust to chance like that. What it also means is beefing up intelligence, because that is what foils most plots. |
