I wonder how much it would decrease if we had a "One Child Policy" in regards to public assistance support. For every N+1 child, assistance gets cut by 2/3.

I bet that would make a bunch of future children "disappear." We should try it for 10 years to see the outcome.

The issue isn't people having children. It is people having children if they can't support them.

In fact, many european nations are having problems with too low birth rates.
