[QUOTE]
Stop being a jerk, please. The simple point is that France and Germany were, like all normal governments, moderately well informed, moderately rational and moderately smart, and could thus warn you over the dangers of illegally invading Iraq. You just happen to have had the bad luck of electing an idiot, who created an idiotic government, with idiotic ideas, well below the average intelligence of the average citizen of an averagely developed country. Hence France's astonishment when it heard your governments silly and absurd ideas. Hence the Germans' need to scream - they could never have imagined that at this day and age, a government could be so dumb. Yeah, just keep kissing that ass. Stop putting France and Germany on such a high level. These four nations had a stake in Iraq and thats why they didnt invade like the rest of the world did--not just the U.S. Yes, the rest of the world was for the war in Iraq at the begining. Why not these four? Perhaps because of the money to be made in Iraq. These four nations do the same as the U.S. when it comes to throwing around its weight to benefit its political interests and economic interests. Dont put us on a pedestal because the rest of the modernized world does it. You think France is some great humanitarian? Look to it in the 90's and even today. France had a role in the genocide in Rwanda and continues to have a grip in Africa. Why is it still there? But I understand that it must be excruciatingly horrible for you to admit this fact. It puts your entire nation to shame. And? The U.S. is shamed everyday by something else whether it be Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson, our obesity epidemic (which is also taking a huge toll in France and Western Europe), etc. We are the one true power and everyone hates us because of it. Europe is simply a jealous stepsister to the U.S. and they have always been critical of us---ignoring their own offenses. We have to live with Vietnam and Iraq---the Germans sweep their support of Hitler and the murder of 6 million people under their rugs made in China by slave labor. From the moment on that you are capable of recognizing your mistake - as a nation - you can start to make a beginning of joining the normal, moderately intelligent nations of this world. Iraq was a mistake. We shouldnt have invaded and its a waste of time trying to work with these people. We have to live with it and make it work. In retrospect, there was much more the U.S. could have done with this time, money, and blood. However, Saddam was an evil man who needed to be taken out. The intelligent world would have sit on its hands just like it always have. Europe would have ignored the problems they helped create the Middle East and cried to the U.S. to fix them when it got out of control---when these evil men all had nukes and used them against innocents. Just like in WWII where the "intelligent nations" tried to kiss Hitlers ass and not spark a war. For the time being, it is best for you to lower your tone, because you have a lot to learn. Reality proves this every single day. Explain this to me? Im too much of a stupid American to understand. But about who stole what, we can only say one thing: American companies stole many more billions since they entered Iraq in 2003, than all other companies from all other major powers combined during the oil for food scandal. On that, you really have to stop being a jerk I want lots of proof of this. Dont just make something up like that. And you called me a jerk already--but I havent called you an arrogant punk yet. |

I think this is a very good point: how is America doing anything "good" for Iraq when they are dying. |

Look I am no fan of the war and never was, but it is comments like
I also hope that the US troops could return back home before most of them will be dead... that just show the immaturity of the poster. Does the poster know how many troops have participated in the war in Iraq since 2003? Does he know how many are there right now? Clearly not or he would not be making such stupid comments. And you wonder why no one really pays much attention to your posts except to ridicule them. |

The French gov't is something I'd never take my hat off for: that said, the immorality of other govt's in the world is completely irrelevant to the issue of the incompetence and callous disregard for life demonstrated by the Bush administration. China: Protect North Korean Refugees (Human Rights Watch, 9-3-2004) I have not seen ONE, not one thread on this subject..yea, the US created the situation in that Iraq is right now, but so what? Does that prelude commentary and condemnation of others who are guilty of sending people back to gulags? The South Koreans propping up slave labor at the Kaesong industrial complex ikn NORTH KOREA (where the nor Koreans woerkers make materials for shipment to the south) and where in the north Korean gov. takes half the workers salary…(all of 57$ a month mind you)… what about that? The selectivity here is breathtaking…. |

Well, had you had the courage to listen to wiser people than your leaders, you would not be responsible for mass graves and mass murder. |
