I know a guy who was in one of Ayatollah Khomenei's Angel Martyr battalions, when he was 13, him and a 12 year old actually killed an Iraqi tank, it took two of them to lift the RPG launcher, who enlisted and served in the US Army later.

During Vietnam, more than 30,000 Canadians (80 killed) served in the US military. During the early years of WWII thousands of Americans served in both the Canadian and British military. Thousands of Irish served in the British military and were shunned by theri government when they returned home.

The point I am making here is it is important "why" one serves, not where one is from.

Completion of military service earns instant citizenship for legal residents.

However, I seem to recall that the services all LOWERED their requirements a couple of months ago to line up with the story that we have enough. and lowered them just enough so that All services were getting just barely enough.
