Unwilling to deal with it? They are trying to cause it, in hopes taking control of the wreckage of their own creation..
I swear... Most of our peers must laugh continuously at the hyper-partisanship of our culture.

Glenn Beck's Fox Show Going Off Air | Featured Videos | Comcast.net

It seems the conservative tide may have peaked
you do realize he decided to stop the show, and most likely he will be buying his OWN station..

He is nuts but a very smart business man. he will get his own channel, and control the entire day...

Don't give the GOP any ideas. They might run with that.

Great! Just what we need, another propaganda outlet. A new channel that only indulges in conspiracy theories. Watched by gullible people who think if they hear it on tv, it must be TRUE.

I watched his show a few times, never all the way thru. I did enjoy the informative series he did on the US's mounting debt and our inablity to service that debt in the not too distant future. It was factual and eye opening.....no crying though..

Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony.

Glenn Beck and his relentless support of an obsolete capitalist system were brought crashing down as that same obsolete capitalist system has come crashing down. I for one won't miss him.

I would need a more credible or second source, the reporting went way to far out of its way to talk about the station being boycotted is working. No “Village people” (liberal) boycott has ever worked.

ha ha, exactly.
I tried to watch his show a couple of times and didn't make it all the way through either.
You know how "Village people" (liberals) news is though, there probably cutting him for low ratings and there reporting it as FOX going bankrupt.
Here's a famous liberal saying; "Got a link"? I mean if it's true there should be a few out there.

Perhaps, perhaps not. However, it is probably time that Beck moved on to something else. It just seems to me the longer his show goes on, the more he moves even further religious right probably alienating some viewers along the way. Of course the current ratings for that time slot not withstanding I can see that down the road viewer levels could drop off.

Yes, that would be almost as bad as a nation full of gullible people who think that if they heard it from their government, it must be true.

Oh wait, the gullible government believers would be far, far, worse.

All the above far-leftists are cellibrating and drawing unproven conclusions, that meet their robotic agenda and talking points.

I firmly believe that the Left is on a downhill course, with unwillingness to adequately deal with huge deficit proplems, and a "leader",Obama, with no leadership abilities as evidenced by his budget proposals and lack thereof.
And Obama has just declared his 2012 campaign ambition to garner one billion dollars and opting out of public campaign financing. What timing?
In my mind, EVERYTHING he does is wrong.
Yep...that's how he got elected President. (and don't say it was just because Bush had run the country into the ground and McBush was obviously no better, true as that may be everyone, even Obama himself, knew Hillary was the better choice)

you do realize he decided to stop the show, and most likely he will be buying his OWN station..

He is nuts but a very smart business man. he will get his own channel, and control the entire day...
Nothing was said about a GBN and I'm pretty sure he would have announced such a move several months ago if it was planned. It will undoubtedly go into syndication and may succeed very well there... (though I swear to god, if he ever comes on in a red bathing suit I will blow up the station). Maybe he'll even get movies...I can see it now, after all the "Beckies" have already had a convention

Nah...History and Discovery Channels have that sewed up already

The primary hoodwinking going on here is that the American people apparently think they have 2 parties to choose from. You don't. You have two sides of the same party -- with big banking controlling both of them.

Beck provided decent entertainment, but he didn't really call out anything.

Our peers, on the other hand, actually have multiple parties that differ in what they represent. They aren't all bought by corporate interests like ours are. That's what keeps them honest.
I agree. The Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin.
Their primary goal is to keep other parties out of their sandbox with closed primaries, redistricting, etc.
Statesman (Country First) are long gone. All we have left are politicians (Party First).
While everyone follows and votes on Dancing with the Stars not many
can see the writing on the wall.
We've been sold down the river by the powers-that-be slowly and inexorably so that we didn't even notice.
Sorry for the rant.

Glenn Beck is simply nuts and all this apologetic baloney doesn't change that. His conspiratorial paranoid interpretation of life in America is so bizarre even my wife, a non-political person can't stand his dramatic acting over idiocy. But of course comedians will miss him and chalkboard prices will go down.
You have to admit though that it is amazing how he constantly uses QUOTES from the people he's disparaging in his "conspiratorial paranoid interpretations". Like, when he talks about "spooky dude" (george soros) he actually uses soros' own audio, video & written words. Unlike, saaaayyyyy, Rachel Madcow who literally makes stuff up out of whole cloth or uses 1/2 quotes taken out of context to "prove" something. Isn't that strange? Beck uses people's OWN words against them & he's some kind of nut. Madcow makes up stuff & she's a respected journalist. That aside, Beck's crazy.

Or when he prattles on about how Dems took away blacks & women's right to vote before they, the Dems, would sign the Constitution. Conspiratorial nut actually produced documents from the national archives & books & newspapers from the time to prove it. What a nut. Southern Dems wouldn't ratify if blacks had the right to vote & New Jersey Dems wouldn't ratify if women had the right. Guess what? Prior to the signing, they had those rights in some states. And whadd'ya know? That whackjob proved it. He's a paranoid schizo.

Did you find it strange that Beck was the ONLY talking head to defend Shirley Sherrod the day obama fired her? I did. I thought he'd totally lost it that day. He said something along the lines of, that tape seemed edited, it didn't prove anything & she shouldn't have been fired unless or until the rest of the tape showed she really was being racist. The guy's insane.

We certainly live in interesting times.

which is why obama screwed her in Tx. Fla., Mich., & Nev.
Google

Of course, that is just about how he won his first couple races in Ill., too. Cheat. Chicago thug-ocracy.

Well shoot, with Beck gone, where will we go to find our true facts?

Oh wait, there's still "Fox and Friends!"

Pap Smears at Walgreens - The Colbert Report - 4/11/11 - Video Clip | Comedy Central

"Exactly right." Get your pap smears at Walgreens! You heard it first on Fox [snicker] News! (I loved the "exactly right" part. Nice touch.)

Here's a great example of how people who watch Fox News or are otherwise captured by the right-wing misinformation bubble step all over themselves:

Republican Senator John Kyl said during a speech on the floor of the Senate that, "If you want an abortion, you go to Planned Parenthood, and that’s well over 90 percent of what Planned Parenthood does."
And when confronted with the truth (in fact it's more like 3 percent of what PP does), he claimed his statement wasn't intended to be factual.

How's that for a defense? Wouldn't it be better to just admit he was another victim of the right wing misinformation machine? If you believe his defense (which I don't for a minute), then he actually knew better and intentionally stated eggregiously exaggerated information. Lied, in other words. Maybe if you watch Fox long enough you can no longer tell the difference.

People like Senator Kyl live in their conservative bubble where they listen to Fox "News" and little else, and then they go around saying things they just know has to be true, because gee, that's the kind of crap you hear or can infer from the Fox noise machine.

Sometimes living in that conservative misinformation bubble jumps up to bite you.

Funny how so few people can see this obvious fact. You could easily put the label of conservative on Obama, change his rhetoric, but keep his acts the same, and voila. He will be reelected, corporations are loving him.

Edit: Bearman, why are you talking as if the fact that Democrats were the conservatives of the 19th century is a shocker? Of course they wouldn't sign unless blacks and women weren't allowed to vote. Back then Democrats were CONSERVATIVE.
