I usually watch Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday on our local Fox channel. Today Chris Wallace had Margie Phelps the daughter of the Westboro Baptist Church founder and who argued their case at the Supreme Court. The hate that this woman projected was unbelievable. The TV set almost got my bowl of oatmeal when she said that those in the military were worse than the Taliban and Al Queda.

The bitch is a loony toon.
I dont even comprehend how anyone even gives a shit what they say... Most people in a big city such as NY, Chicago, LA pay zero attention to the street preachers that spew all kinds of bat shit, yet people pay attention to the WBC?? Its funny how the WBC makes news yet the fringe racist black churches/cults dont... Or even the brown shirts for that matter. There are all kinds of bizarre offensive groups that have 10x,100x or 1000x the affiliation or membership that the retards at the WBC have yet those groups are ignored. The Nation of Islam is a fantastic example but they're tame compared to the Black Hebrew Israelites. I'll assume most know about the Nation of Islam but not many talk about these nutty motherfuckers; Black Hebrew Israelites - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

The Nation of Islam is a fantastic example but they're tame compared to the Black Hebrew Israelites. A little more about one specific group, the Nation of Yahweh, does look a bit nastier. Here's the SPLC's take on the group: Rebirth of A Nation | Southern Poverty Law Center So yeah, these are perhaps a bit more dangerous than the Black Hebrews overall, kind of a black version of the Aryan Nations. You seem to have painted with too broad a brush just the same. |

I read the Wikipedia article you linked. Aside from allegations by the SPLC concerning one or two of these religious groups that ]they preach a form of black supremacy, I couldn't see anything all that bad about it.[ A bit odd, to be sure, but then the idea that black people are descended from the ancient Jews is really no stranger than the ideas of the Mormons or of evangelical Christians, and seems a harmless form of absurdity. Mansions of Rastafari - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ^^ Thats another one. Subsects of that group were responsible for string of serial killings in Georgia back in the late 80's. I forget the name of the actual "clan" but it was quite large (300+) .... I suppose my point is that there is no limited volume of odd hate in America and I find it blatantly biased that the liberal media ALWAYS focuses on fringe groups that have the potential to make Christians look bad, or white people look bad while overlooking other fucked up groups. Hell, you could use the Brown shirts or the red shirt Marxists as an example of PURE HATE... Those fucking retards pretty much align themselves with Che Guevara and Joseph Stalin/Lenin. Whats the difference if you want to kill wealthy people or gays??? Honestly?? Those motherfuckers aren't shy about spewing how they want to gut the wealthy much like Che's position 60 years ago. Now, I'm not defending the WBC but my point is that there is a SEVERE leftist bias when it comes to "extremism." |

And yet everyone's heard of the Nation of Islam, and Malcolm X is demonized quite a bit, as is Louis Farrakhan (rather unfairly in terms of actual deeds). As for WBC, they have themselves to blame; it's obvious that the pastor is an attention whore and media seeker. Protesting at the funerals of military casualties, I mean really! That's just asking to get noticed, and that's obviously what Phelps wants.

We'll see how much you know about the Nation of Islam with your answer. Please justify that... |

Who says it is? Oh yeah and the fact that they LOVE to hold rallies in Chicago (where I'm from) and you can hear their racist shit 10 blocks away but the fucking news never reports their nonsense. You fucking serious? What evidence do you have to prove the Nation of Islam is humble?? You supply evidence where they say one GOOD word about whites or Christianity.. Look for it.. |

The bitch is a loony toon. I'd start with the Right Rev. Jeremiah Wright. But let's not hold our breath on that one. |

I joined the Patriot Guard Riders about two years ago. They certainly do their part to ensure that the mourning families don't have to deal with the pieces of shit from the WBC...

And what exactly has the WBC done that Louis Farrakahn hasn't?? Granted, if you know of something they've done that would match that (or top it), feel free to share. I wouldn't be surprised if they have, but I honestly am not aware of something associated with them that would fit that description. |

With the right to free speech we as a people have to put up with scumbag like WBC. I will gladly put up with these shit heads like a I do the Nation of Islam, The KKK, The Nazi, And the democrat party so I can have free speech. Only progressives want speech censored. Just ask Tipper. |

So she didnt say they couldnt protest just where they could protest? Or are you pulling this out of your ass? I am not from AZ so I have no idea. My point was twofold. 1) It's not just progressives that support certain limits on speech. 2) Censorship is not an all or nothing thing -- it's a matter of degrees. |

Dude. We had a freaking thread here about this a few weeks ago. And yes, it's a restriction on where you can protest. That's still censorship to a degree. |

Excuse me but that isnt limiting free speech. That limiting where you can go. We d9o that all the time. Trespassing laws. And I was posting in here a couple of weeks ago I was posting elsewhere. They're not exactly progressives either. |
