Attock: Some unidentified militants on Thursday night attacked Kamra Airbase, an important base of Pakistan Air Force.According to sources, the militants tried to take hostages and destroy warplanes standing at the Kamra Airbase.According to sources, the militants attacked the base at almost at 2:30 PST and the fighting is still going on between the militants and army troops.Militants are using heavy weaponry including hand grenades and IED’s.Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt were also informed about the deadly attack.JF-17 Thunder are also assembled at Kamra airbase while Pakistan Aeronautical Complex is also situated near the airbase.
