ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has summoned a meeting of federal cabinet on Wednesday.
The cabinet meeting would be briefed by Law Minister Farooq H Naek regarding Contempt of Court Act 2012 and NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance).
Sources have informed Online that the federal cabinet meeting would deliberate over the overall socio-political, and law and order scenario of the Country, besides energy crisis, and skyrocketing inflation in the month of Ramadan.
Earlier, Supreme Court had granted PM Raja Pervez Ashraf a grace up to 25th July 2012 to comply with the court’s directive of writing to Swiss Courts.
Official sources have informed Online that government was not willing to comply with Supreme Court’s directives about writing to Swiss Courts, as PPP’s party policy forbids such a move.
