The Federal Cabinet has decided that load shedding would be conducted on an equal basis throughout the country.
A meeting was held in this regard today, chaired by Prime Minister Raja Parvaiz Ashraf.
The Cabinet was apprised by the Ministry of Water and Power that power generation has increased and the shortfall has reduced to 3500 MW.
The meeting further concluded that there would be no power outages during Taraveeh‚ Sehar and Iftar timings in Ramazan.
The Cabinet was also informed that an additional 2000 MW electricity will be added in the national grid by the end of the year.
