RAWALPINDI: Chairman Difa-e-Pakistan Council, Maulana Samiul Haq in reaction to the government's move of reopening the Nato supply routes announced to hold an All Parties Conference (APC) on July 7 followed by a long march towards Islamabad on July 8.

Haq chaired a meeting of DPC following the resumption of Nato supply line here on Wednesday and later talking to the media persons announced to lead a long march towards Islamabad that will begin from Nasir Bagh at 9:00 AM on July 8.

He said all the political and religious parties will be contacted for seeking their participation in the long march.

The DPC Chairman said Shaikh Rasheed will meet Imran Khan while he himself would go to Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and invite him to the event.

He also appealed Pakistan Muslim League-N leaders Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif to participate in the long march.

"I oppose the political and military leadership over the decision of reopening the Nato supply routes," he said, demanding of the government to resign for 'betraying the nation'.
