PESHAWAR: Khyber Pukhtunkhaw Information Minister, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that the militants had attacked the Bannu Central Jail late in the night at 1.30 A.M, which resulted in the escaping of 384 prisoners from the jail.Mian Iftikhar said that 20 high profile prisoners including the one involved in the attack on former President Pervez Musharraf has also fled away. He said that the prisoners involved in ordinary crimes were coming back.Provincial Information minister further said that an inquiry into the jailbreak would be held besides it would also be investigated as to why the additional force arrived late.Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that orders for a siege in the area has been issued.
