Default 'No compromise on national integrity'
Talking to media at Islamabad airport upon her arrival, Sherry Rehman said recommendations by the parliament would help restore confidence.

Sherry said no compromise would be made on country’s sovereignty and national integrity.

A day earlier, she called the parliamentary review a historical step initiated by the democratic government. “These decisions are not made by one person or a selected kitchen cabinet behind closed doors. They are reviewed by the parliament that reflects the sentiments of the country and Pakistanis.”
She said that the parliament would decide the final procedure after the proposed recommendations are thoroughly discussed. Ambassador Rehman said that such decisions require discussions but the relations between the US and Pakistan should be based on clarity, truth and mutual respect.
