ISLAMABAD: The Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) has received Supreme Court’s (SC) order in connection with writing the letter to Swiss authorities by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for reopening of corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari, Geo News reported.

A seven-member bench heard the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) case on March 08 and ordered Prime Minister Gilani to write a letter to the Swiss authorities to reopen cases.

The court had directed the Prime Minister to write the letter without getting any advice.

The SC had also issued directives for delivering the court order to PM via Attorney General.
