LAHORE: Resolutions condemning US Congress's resolution calling for an independent Balochistan have been presented in the Punjab Assembly (PA), Geo News reported Monday.

PML-N MPA Zamurd Yasin and parliamentary leader of PML-Q Chaudhry Zaheer Uddin moved the resolutions.

US Congress resolution over Balochistan is unnecessary and people of Pakistan have concerns over it, the text said. 'US wanted to create misunderstandings among the stakeholders here instead of stopping Indian involvement in the region.'

Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and the Baloch people are ready to sacrifice everything for their country's sovereignty.
