He spends all day every day hating them but when he goes on vacation where does he go?
HYPOCRITE http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp...eda972b621.241 Obama heads to vacation as economic woes deepen By Stephen Collinson (AFP) – 9 hours ago CHILMARK, Massachusetts — US President Barack Obama has defied the mockery of Republicans and sought refuge from the troubles battering his White House on the well-heeled resort of Martha's Vineyard. With the stock market tanking on new fears of a double-dip recession and with the unemployment rate at 9.1 percent, critics said the president should be staying in Washington rather than taking 10 days off. But Obama aides said that Americans would not begrudge the president a few days of rest with his family, and two senior officials will brief him regularly on national security and economic threats. "The president of the United States is the president of the United States, wherever he goes. That's the job he ran for. That is what the American people expect. And it's the job he's doing," said Obama spokesman Joshua Earnest. Obama's top counter-terrorism aide John Brennan flew aboard Air Force One with the president and a top economic official Brian Deese will arrive on the island off Massachusetts next week, Earnest said. "The president understands that he has important responsibilities to fill, and it's his job to fill those responsibilities 24 hours a day, 365 days a year," Earnest said. Obama, who plans to take excursions from his rented Blue Heron farm with his family and indulge his passion for golf, will also spend time preparing a major jobs and deficit plan he will unveil in September, Earnest said. |

Romney said. "If I were president, I wouldn't be looking to spend ten days on Martha's Vineyard." But, as it turns out, the Republican presidential candidate will be spending one day there -- at the very time Obama is on Martha's Vineyard. Romney will hold a fundraiser on the Vineyard on Aug. 27, towards the end of the president's stay. The Boston Herald reports the $2,500-per-person affair will be held "just across the island" from where the Obamas are staying, and comes at the tail end of a fundraising swing through some of the "tonier" summer communities of the Bay State, including Nantucket and Osterville, on Cape Cod. |

So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch. Among recent presidents, Bill Clinton took the least time off -- 28 days. |

Brad is attempting to push a Limbaugh talking point that somehow President Obama is a bad person. They don't quite have the facts to back themselves up, so they hope they can just paint him with anything circumstantial that happens on any given day.
In this particular case, they are trying to argue that since Obama has pointed out that the biggest contributor to our deficit is Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy, that he must somehow hate the wealthy, even though by any reasonable measure, he's among the wealthy with his and Michelle's household income. But setting that fact aside (because it doesn't fit their narrative), they are clumsily attempting to suggest that somehow Obama hates wealthy people. And that by taking a few days to spend time with his family in a part of Massachusetts where some wealthy people vacation, he must be totally conflicted, because he wants them to pay the same tax levels they paid when the country was at its peak of financial stability and power in the 90's. |
