Remember when they ridiculed Palin's bus tour? Well, Comrade Obama is going on a bus tour of his own---and he's making us pay for it. Sweet. We should be raising that debt ceiling again in a few months...
http://cnsnews.com/news/article/taxp...tour-midwest-b Taxpayers Will Pay for Obama Bus Tour of Battleground States, Says White House Wednesday, August 03, 2011 By Fred Lucas (CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama’s upcoming bus tour through the Midwest states typically viewed as swing states during presidential election years will be paid for by the taxpayers, the White House says. Obama will start the tour on Aug. 15 and will talk about strengthening jobs and the economy, the White House announced on Tuesday. “He is very happily getting out into the country again after a very sustained period here in Washington and he looks forward to talking to folks about growing the economy, creating jobs," said White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. "We will have more details, as I said, about the specifics of the trip." Carney indicated he did not know now precisely where the president would go or what he might be announcing. CNSNews.com asked Carney, “Is that a campaign event or a presidential event? Carney answered, “Negative. That is an official event.” “The air of cynicism is quite thick,” Carney shot back. “The idea that the president of the United States should not venture forth into the country is ridiculous.” |

Who ridiculed Palin for the bus tour? We ridiculed Palin for being a sideshow, and all the dimwits who went out to see the circus freak. Politicians though, whether campaigning or in office, have often made bus tours.
Two things stand out to show your own hypocracy (this would be the point where Richard chides me for giving you too much credit for expecting you to actually think before you post): 1) You already posted today about Obama and people using jets. Now that he's on a bus tour, it's still too expensive for you? 2) Any President who has ever toured the country to promote something, for instance George W. Bush and the need to attack Iraq, has done it on the taxpayers' dime. Where was your concern then? Oh, yeah, it was shut up and let the man speak you dumb, pansie Commies! |

It's not just Brad, it's the overwhelming majority of these right-wing automatons. They have adobted this fundamental tenet: I don't think; therefore you are an idiot.
Most of the Obama-name-altering, crazy, cut-and-paste LimBeck posts typify those who the Republican presidential candidates will have to cater to during the primary season. These candidates will have to take such extreme positions to win the nomination that they will never win the general; the mainstream electorate won't stand for it. |

I'm just amazed this dull tool isn't going on about the Birth Certificate again, His IDOL Rush was on the birther bandwagon again yesterday, guess he is running out of fresh BS.
These people used to amuse me, now I'm just scared. I remember dating a girl in HS and her dad was so Anti Government, Anti Taxes & IRS, this was back in the mid 80's, he scared me then, I can only imagine his disposition today. Again - THESE PEOPLE SCARE ME. |
