Default Mike Huckabee Not Running For President in 2012
Interesting development. While he won't say why not, some pundits point to him just not wanting to lose his lucrative and comfortable soapbox on Fox News.

This opens the Iowa field for Bachmann to announce her candidacy and pull in Iowa's social conservatives.

Romney's not wowing a lot of Republicans with his speeches lately. It looks like the messaging among the few who have officially announced is already pretty fractured.

With the gloves off this early, it'll be interesting to see how much damage the Republicans can do to each other up to the primary. Dems just need to sit back, gathr up the attack ads and recycle them for the general election. This should be fun.

The best gift of all would be for someone like Bachmann to lose the primary and then let her ego and a couple of rich backers convince her to mount a third-party run as a Tea Party candidate. Oh, I wish, I wish, I wish.
