He also said in another interview that Bin Laden "won". He's revealing his true anti-American idiot self---but he loves our money and lifestyle. The Libs can have him.
Click link for video: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vid..._on_trial.html Moore: Bin Laden Suffered An "Execution;" Should Have Put Him On Trial "They killed him not because there was a fire fight or something going on. They went there with the intention to kill him. That's an execution or an assassination, whatever you want to call it," Michael Moore told CNN. |

The question has been brought up whether or not bin Laden actually tried to surrender. If he had, that almost demoralizes him even more: Instead of a Martyr, we'd have a chicken$#!^ terrorist leader, who gave up while telling others of the great rewards that awaited them for dying for the cause.
If he had tried to surrender, then it has been suggested that it would have been an illegal murder, that ObL was unarmed and not a combatant. I don't know what happened, and either way I believe our troops, Team Six, was in the right. I still won't celebrate bin Laden's death, but I do feel the world is better off without him. |

Agreed, Dave.
As for Moore, I really can't say that I like the man. He's too extreme, even when making some valid points. And, to a certain extent, he is correct in saying that bin Laden "won" because of the changes to our society that resulted from 9/11. The real goal of terrorists is to create fear, and he certainly succeeded in doing that. Not a complete victory for the bad guys, I think we've shown that won't happen. But every time we get on an airplane we're reminded of the attacks as we go through stricter security; every time someone attempts to disrupt things using terrorist tactics we all get on edge. To that degree, he did "win" over civilized people. |
