Default Bruce Springsteen Slams New Jersey Budget Cuts
Greetings From The Asbury Park Press: Bruce Springsteen Slams New Jersey Budget Cuts

Bruce Springsteen is making his opinions known about the political battles in his home state of New Jersey -- with a letter to the Asbury Park Press, praising a recent article of theirs about the negative impact of Gov. Chris Christie's (R-NJ) proposed cuts on the poor.

Interesting to note, Christie is himself a big Springsteen fan, and has a collection of many years worth of ticket stubs from concerts. http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2...ts.php?ref=fpi

And here is a link to the article Springsteen was praising.

Oh, wow. I'll bet Chris Christie is shakin' in his boots. The Boss is mad at him.

That is not the point, not that I am surprised you missed it. The point of the Article and what Mr. Springsteen was illuminating is that that the GOP is granting tax breaks to the wealthy while cutting benefits to those that can not afford it, If you READ the original article (but I suspect you read about as much as S.Palin), Christie says we all have to shoulder the load but that is not what is happening. Those on the fringes of the middle class are being pushed down and into poverty. Another point was the decision to grant tax cuts to those making over a million a year will cost NJ 200 million in revenue the first year and 690 million by the fifth and then he turns around, cutting the tax credit from 25% to 20% to the 485,000 recipients, Low-wage earners, saving NJ, 45 million. Even a dolt like you should(but doubtful) see this does not add up.
