I'm enjoying it so far. It's not going to go down as one of the great literary achievements of all time, but it IS a pleasant read.
Dave, I think you've really captured your ideas about God (as I know them from your posts here) quite nicely, and done so without being offensive to most thinking individuals. But, do tell, is the name Mickey a tip of the hat to Mr. Mantle? |

As you should be! I agree, anyone who has the drive to write then publish a book is a hero in my eyes, I have always entertained the idea of writing a book myself, but did I ever do it??? Nope! so kudos and congrats to you, I hope it becomes a big seller |

It might. My biggest holdup (read: excuse) has been getting the first one illustrated, since I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler. Since my nephew married an artist last year, and she has already illustrated a children's book, I really don't have that one any more.
Dave, I'm enjoying some of the nice touches, such as the Smithsmonian curator. |

Okay, I've fininshed Dave's masterpiece, and I found it to be just as he described: a lighthearted and humorous take on God and politics. I found the characters to be pretty realistic in their actions and reactions. One loose end wasn't resolved, but otherwise all the issues were wrapped up neatly.
Nicely done, Dave! |
