Default Tenn Dem blasts Republican propaganda as Nazi-like
I was hoping we were getting past this type of thing. We don't need Tea Party imagery in grown-up politics.

A House Democrat compared Republicans to one of the most reviled Nazis during World War ll– ignoring efforts on both sides of the aisle to tone down the political rhetoric.

Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, used a late night House floor speech Tuesday to hit Republicans for what he called "lies" about a government takeover of the health care system, and evoked Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

"They say it's a government takeover of health care, a big lie, just like Goebbels. You say it enough, you repeat the lie, you repeat the lie, you repeat the lie and eventually people believe it," he said.

You do realize, Richard, that you are just as bad as this Dem, there was no need to mention and bash the Tea-party in your mini screed.

I'm referring to the posters that Tea Partiers brought to their rallies. They inserted Nazi imagery into their characterization of the president and the health care legislation.

Whatever, do we have to go into the number of times lefties have used Nazi imagery? If you have a problem with this Lefty Congressman, then say that. But, no, instead you use it as an opportunity to take gratuitous swipe at the Tea Party. If you were really concerned about the tone of Civil debate, you would not have done it. But that is not really what your politics are about is it?
