Are you saying it's the government's fault that people commit fraud on their income taxes? That's a joke. The IRS, in case you haven't noticed, are pretty relentless when they want their money. They found these people and they are pursuing them. Those in jail who filed false claims must have had assest or they wouldn't have bothered. Where there are assets to recover, the IRS are really good at recovering them.
