The bottom line on lib economic policy and those that support is that I've yet to see it successfully defended. The reason is simple, there is no defense for it. It just doesn't fly. One doesn't have to be a finance whiz to understand outlay can only exceed income for so long. The top 25% of wage earners are already paying 87% of the income tax in this country so that well can only be tapped to a certain depth until its counterproductive as well. If I'm wrong then make your case, liberals.

I have an easy solution. Stay out of these wars unless you are in them to win them. To hell with liberating other countries. Agreed. They can liberate themselves, or not. Do not tax job creators and achievers to the point its counterproductive. For those who create American jobs, I agree. However I have no problem with taxing the shit out of anti-American companies who outsource the majority of their workforce. I'm also for major tax cuts for companies who bring outsourced jobs back to the US. Cut the EPA down to almost nothing. Disagree on this one. We should just make the EPA more efficient with sensible laws that still allow for profitability. Too many laws are never a good thing. Simplify the tax code. Abolish the capital gains tax as that money has already been taxed once. Free the $2-4T being held in overseas corporate and personal coffers from taxation to bring a portion of that capital home. Cut the federal workforce dramatically. I like an 8-10% flat tax across the board on ALL income. Cut job killing unions down to size. How about simply make unions voluntary? Let the people choose. |
