So slightly bored this evening.......I began reading "The political Mind", by Lakoff.

Holy fucking hell..............

Why you can't understand 21st century American Politics with an 18th century brain

This book is a 'bold and startling challenge to the cherished beliefs of pundits pollsters and political leaders alike'........it claims.

In the intro to the book, he explains that 'reasonable is not as reasonable as we think'.

WTF? I mean srsly, WTF???

The political divide in this country, he explains......isn't about money, or power, or religion........it's about how our brains work.

Yes yes.........of course conservatives are brain damaged, is what he's trying to point out.

I'm going to quote some of his choice wisdom here............

She was in reality.....a fucking saint.......and she was a product of what America is. Then she played by the White mans rules ..........hard work, perseverance, etc.......and we hated her for it.
