Default Romney expected to name Paul Ryan as VP pick.
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/m...032140054.html

NORFOLK, Va.--Mitt R omney will name his vice presidential running mate on Saturday.
According to a statement the campaign released late Friday, the presumptive Republican nominee will announce his running mate at an 8:45am rally here on the USS Wisconsin--the first stop of his four-day bus tour of key battleground states. The campaign offered no further details, and aides traveling with Ronney declined to comment.
But Republican sources told NBC News, the Huffington Post, the Associated Press and CNN that Mitts is expected to name Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin--reports the campaign refused to confirm. In addition, ABC News's Jon Karl reported that former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio--all of whom were said to be on Mitt's short list--have all been told they are not the pick.

Ryan is much more valuable if he remains as house leader. I'd love to see Scott Walker get the nod. It'd never happen though...makes too much sense.

But Ryan is brilliant. I really expect him to shine at the Rep. Natl Convention. I agree Walker would have been great as well but Ryan works also.

If what you say is true,
all the more reason to remove him from any seat of power ...

Gee.

Who, oh WHO would Step Up to fill the void? ...

(I swear to God, folks,
it's like fishing with Purina Floating Catfish Chow,
a nice big net,
and more time than sense

and the little minnows that come and nibble/tickle your feets are FAB!!!
but BEWARE! They will lull you to the Sleep of the SUNBURN FROM HELL!!!)

The VP slot is the last place a "brilliant" person needs to be used. The VP is essentially benign.

Ryan will be President soon. Evangelical Christians won't allow a Mormon to stay in office long.
