"Neither outwardly effeminate nor aggressively macho, these two contestants in America’s first "Battle of the Metrosexuals" manifest their metrosexuality as straight arrow, sensitive urban guys with a well-developed feminine side.
Clean-cut, non-threatening, even-tempered, always dressed appropriately for the occasion, these physically fit soft-core jocks are as much at home on the basketball court or in the paddock as they are sipping tea with the ladies." http://lewrockwell.com/celente/celente98.1.html |

This was always my biggest issue with Ron Paul. Not that he's "metrosexual", but just not macho enough. A "Real Man" is working quietly somewhere, trying to pay his bills and make a better life for his family.. Educating himself.. Helping others.. Being a benefit to his community. He may be in a wheelchair, and his contribution is in no way diminished.. |

My dad is a real man.. He's an engineer.. Truly a brilliant guy. He gave us all a very good living, and we wanted for nothing the entire time I was growing up.
You'll never find him on a Harley Davidson, or closing a bar down.. But, in my opinion, that does nothing to diminish his place in the club. |
