Default Bob Shrum: Omama has a powerful case against Romney!
..a powerful case against that squarely fits that narrative. He's drawn his dividing line: Who stands up for you and who stands up for the few? , for his (newly found) part, still has a worn and one-dimensional message that rests uneasily on the proposition that as a job creator in the private sector, he's the one to create jobs for the country ...

http://theweek.com/bullpen/column/22...biden-and-bain

They're making a mistake here.. Obama track record is failure squared... Yet they're attacking as a successful businessman. Relentless! Single minded in his pursuit!!! And effective! Effective like a nazi death camp guard! Effective like a raging pit bull! Nothing could prevent him from pursing profits and money and greed! Nothing.. !!!!

And, compared to a hapless community organizer with no experience doing absolutely anything relevant to the private sector.. A lot of people are going to see this as a plus.

They're scared.. People lost their jobs, homes and savings and NOW they're finally paying attention.

So, the "powerful argument" is to present them with a contrast between Obama/Carter/Maliase Guy and /Unstoppable, single minded vulture who knows his way around money, wealth and winning.. ???

I say people are going to want that vulture working for them..

Also: Why not? What do they have to lose at this point?

Are things going so well that anyone will fear ?

I doubt it..

This looks like a case of your enemy destroying himself. should just let him go.

Bob Shrum. I always laugh when I see him. No person in history has worked on so many losing campaigns. They even say he brings a "curse" to campaigns.

By the way, I should have said I agree with your OP. I was just laughing too hard as I always do when I see anything from this idiot.

Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Will massively slash taxes and regulations, put a kibosh on the Federal Reserve, and drastically shrink the Federal government?

Nobody is sure.. Much of his "Conservatism" is an eleventh hour conversion. It's untested.

That was always my problem with him.. He has words. Somebody like Newt? He has deeds. Perry - Deeds. Cain - experience, deeds. Paul? A record, convictions..

But, still.. if the contest is a contrast between Mr. Win and More of the Same.. I'd hand the edge to on the economy and jobs.

I wanted someone with a track record.. and I don't know that has ever been a legitimate "Conservative"

But, he has the nomination.. So, that is settled business.

The only way we'll know is if he gets elected.

And that's the downside of a candidate like .. He could just as easily lose congress and destroy the party if he's not what he claims to be.

He stakes out some very conservative positions, and none of them seem to be hurting him. He has a plan that reads will, but does he believe it?

An Obama like failure that throws dems into Congress in 14 will just about cripple any hope for serious reform.. Including SC nominees.

All of it goes up in the air (again) if Mittens fails..

I totally agree with everything you said.

All I know is he's much much more qualified to be POTUS than Obama. I will vote for enthusiastically and hope for the best.

The worst thing about Obama [job creation] is the best thing about . This is a stupid campaign tactic.

And now Trump is on board with . Vice President 'The Donald'?

Not a chance in hell of that happening. He wouldn't gain anything by picking "The Donald" for his VEEP choice. That would be like McCain picking Lieberman as his VEEP choice. Two mushy middle of the road independents. In the case of Trump & Mitt, it would be 2 rich white businessmen. Mitt will pick someone very conservative, like Rubio or Portman or Daniels.

The Donald is very popular. And I can't imagine he isn't trying to get something out of this. And let's be realistic, Trump knows a lot about the economy, he understands what's going on with China and he would be a great running mate because he will say all the blunt stuff against Obama so can play 'Good Cop'.

I agree with that. I just don't see it happening. He needs some balance and Trump isn't it. Besides, I think most independents (foolishly) aren't interested in the impact of China.

may be forced into picking a female running mate, anyway.

But he should keep Trump on as an advisor.

Trump needs to retain his role as attack dog. The VP should be someone who can deliver a key state. I like Rubio but I think he is a little green, he needs more seasoning.
