Someone that has believed the same thing for DECADES is someone with CONVICTIONS,

that has thought through their stance/opinion, and had those decades to defend it,

learning all of the ins-and-outs of those issues.

Considering the fact that the most basic problem is our return to our Constitution,
wouldn't you feel a LOT more secure with a man that had a record of trying to do just that,
without "taking into consideration" all the bullshit that just confuses the issue,
and waffling back and forth over his own position?

OBAMA IS TERM-LIMITED.
yes, his term limits could extend his reign through 2016, plenty of time for him to complete the destruction of the evil USA.

How does this Ron Paul chap measure up on the issues of the moment?

Your 'return to the Constitution' is nice and all, but it sounds more like a hallmark sentiment than a platform for action. A safe and nondescript position. He can do no wrong with that. But can he do any good? Does he have a power to inflame the hearts and minds of the populace?

Do Americans care more about their Constitution, or unemployment and the price of petrol?

Ron Paul is a joke, his supporters are delusional.

NO ONE HAS SAID THAT ITS ALL OBAMA. TRY TO PAY ATTENTION. OBAMA IS CURRENTLY IN CHARGE AND HIS PARTY CONTROLS THE SENATE. REMOVE OBAMA, REPLACE ALL INCUMBENT CONGRESSPERSONS, AND WE MIGHT SEE SOME IMPROVEMENT.

The fact that Ron Paul has been preaching the same line for 30 years says something about his powers of persuasion and ability to gain followers.

and come on, it has nothing to do with Jooooooooooooooooooooz.

the guy is just a bad messenger for his own message
The message is stronger today than it has been in decades. Because of Ron Paul, and especially because of the energetic and principled young people who have taken up the torch.

We're no longer patching the old roads. We're building new ones.

Ron Paul is a devotee of Austrian economics. There is no unemployment in a free economy. Gasoline would be cheaper than water.

Only government can create involuntary unemployment. Nature is always in a state of full employment.

So you end up in an absurd argument where Bush only created 5% unemployment, while Obama created 8% unemployment, and the point of the whole thing is missed. Unemployment is CREATED.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Ron Paul, for the first time in my life I heard serious concerns about FED Policy take center stage at a Presidential Debate..

More young people than ever are aware of the dangers of misguided monetary policy and the generational relationship between spending today and the hangover tomorrow.
