Office of Minority Health......... Offices of Minority Health can be found at the Federal, Regional, and State levels. This page contains contacts for each of these offices. Hold on.....we're not done..... How about this office? CDC's Office of Minority Health & Health Equity (OMHHE) http://www.cdc.gov/minorityhealth/OMHHE.html Recent legislation requires the establishment of an Office of Minority Health within the Office of the Director at six US Department of Health and Human Services agencies - including CDC - with the head of each office reporting directly to the head of each agency. Although CDC has had an Office of Minority Health in place for over 20 years (formerly the Office of Minority Health & Health Disparities or OMHD), in order to comply with all provisions of the new statute, CDC organizationally re-aligned and re-named it's office: Office of Minority Health & Health Equity (OMHHE). Or this office? Minority and Multicultural Health http://www.health.state.mn.us/ommh/ These office's employ a lot of people........ALL working on the tax dollar....... THESE are the things that really tick me off about the government. These are the issues....that Bigac, and Rocat, and others REFUSE to address, or talk about. How much do these offices go through each year? Because when checking out their budgets......I see that they are funded from 3 or 4 different government agencies...... WHY? Of course we all know that answer.......to make the numbers LOOK smaller. http://minorityhealth.hhs.gov/templa...?lvl=1&lvlID=1 Got Funding? http://minorityhealth.hhs.gov/ ...and there shall be offices of Minority Health to meet the special needs of those we deem to be in a special class. Congress shall provide funds to agencies who shall then provide funds to the offices of Minority Health. This will bring about equitable health outcomes and ensure social justice. But seriously, why would you call me out on this, as if I had any use or support for such a beast? Do you think I support this nonsense? |

I see somebody hasn't read Article I of the Constitution. It's all right there in the text! My position is that the US caters to niggers and other minorities.....and it's wrong. It's a waste. It's not helping. It's the very definition of insanity. Other repubs will NOT approach or talk about such things. Your position is that race isn't to be taken seriously......merit is king. And I agree with part of that. However, we can't move past shit like this, without address the issue that is the elephant in the room...........RACE. By refusing to say 'Look, I'm sick of the nigger shit. I'm sick to death of it.'.....you give silent approval to such programs. You can say.......'look, just stop the fucking bullshit, and get back to the constitution'......but that's only PART of the issue. Why? Because IF that was to happen, and these programs would cease........the public out cry would be huge.......the headlines will read "Niggers hit hardest by massive cuts'.......The repubs would then back off. Don't deny that......because we've got a track record of doing just that. Following the 'equality' clauses in the constitution, is what has LED to such offices being created. Race, is central to this. Ending such shenanigans can't happen, until people are willing to say 'Enough of the nigger shines'. IMVHHO. It's not a personal call out to you bigac. It's more of a call out to repubs in general. I just used some of the repubs here at DLP for specifics. |

We've had this debate before, you and I. Your concern is with courage of conviction. I wouldn't care if somebody called me racist for a specific policy. Many politicians are not cut from that cloth. If a policy makes sense, it makes sense. You have to be willing to stick to your guns. Blaming a race is a quick way to gin up opposition to anything that you do. I'd much rather talk about the whole problem of coddling the poor and not give anybody any ammo to get the sympathy of stupid people on their side. |
