None of the current crop of Republicans running represents change, except Ron Paul. The rest of them are big government progressives just like Obama. 4 more years of Obama or 4 years of a 'R' big government progressive? I will vote for neither...

We cannot allow this traitor to have 4 more years to complete his destruction of our country.
We need to start from the ground up anyway...

Do I want more Obama? Let me see... Well, my taxes haven't gone down, the price of gas is through the roof, people are being laid off left and right, niggers are getting the upper hand, more of our freedoms are being taken away, etc.

I'd say sure... if I was a liberal, Marxist fuck.

But I'm not, so I say FUCK NO!!!

If anyone on this forum wants 4 more years of Obama, please tell us why.
Let's go ahead and elect him again and then after him, let's vote in whoever the Democrats run as a successor.

Also lets vote big blue across the federal and state congresses and across all mayors, governors, and anyone in or near federalist contracts with a hand or two in the proverbial treasury jar.

SO THAT over a relatively short time we can view as a whole the failure of Progressive solution proposals that only succeed in decreasing your wealth, your ability to generate wealth, while increasing government programs, government paperwork, organization requirements, and business bureaucracy and conforms.

After we learn from that deep tissue wound that will take more than a generation to scar over poorly, as God is our witness we will never vote liberal again.

Promises promises.

Did you know that the oh in song lyrics is short for Ohio?

Ron Paul reminds me of a guy in an old folks home who rants and raves about whatever pops into his head and then falls asleep and shits in his diapers. Your obsession with this old fuck borders on insanity.

Mitt has no history as a Conservative at all..

Newt.. At least he was a conservative once, and he has accomplishments.

Ron Paul is the most Conservative candidate in the race.. and is the best possible outcome.

Except for Sachem, of course.. She's a northeast liberal, but she's one of ours so, I'd accept that.

Win or Lose, if is the candidate.. I think a party split is coming.

If he loses, it's going to be blamed on the establishment..

If he wins.. He'd better be the second coming of Reagan.. Because if he's a squish moderate, there's going to be a revolt.

Faith will be lost forever. The "establishment" will have certified itself as worthless..

If Paul wins, I think he'll be wildly popular because his policies will work and lead to vast prosperity.. If he's not, and his policies fail.. Then his ideas will be forever discredited. Nobody will take a long shot like him ever again.

Ron Paul may be the most conservative by your definition, Hoffa. But he has no chance, and his stance on defense kills him with many conservatives.

I'm with Rocat. I can't stand the idea of seeing another 4 years of Obama. And with someone in the Oval Office from the same party, the Republicans holding control of the Congress (and hopefully the Senate after the 2012 elections) would be able to get some of their plans accomplished. They can't do that with Obama in there. has signed on to support the Paul Ryan plan. Gingrich disparaged it months ago, so he would fight Paul. I'd rather see someone in the Oval Office who would work with Ryan and people like him.

As I said in another thread, if anyone truly believes that would get elected, and then intentionally fight everything the Tea Party & other conservatives in Congress want him to do, ensuring that he would not get re-elected, I'd love to see the logic behind that thinking.

Obama had to pander to his base when elected because he knew that it was the only way to get re-elected, even if he thought Obamacare and Dodd/Frank were really bad ideas. would do exactly the same thing.

Frankly, that is because most "conservatives" have their heads in their ass when it comes to security.. Arguably, there are areas we want LESS secure right now.. Not MORE secure.. Security = investment.

As I said in another thread, if anyone truly believes that would get elected, and then intentionally fight everything the Tea Party & other conservatives in Congress want him to do, ensuring that he would not get re-elected, I'd love to see the logic behind that thinking. It's simple.. Vested interests won't benefit from the kind of change this country needs. They will lose... so they will fight it vigorously.

They will do this for money.. Because they are corrupt. is their champion.

Obama had to pander to his base when elected because he knew that it was the only way to get re-elected, even if he thought Obamacare and Dodd/Frank were really bad ideas. would do exactly the same thing. Obama sold out his base.. will do the same thing.

If Mitt hasn't had an 11th hour conversion, and he's just politicking, he's going to be an unMITTigated disaster for the country and the party.. 4 more years of Obama with a Republican Congress would be a better long term outcome.

I don't want that.. But it's true.

Mitt fucks up, the R's will be swept out of power in 2 years... and you can't do much with an unpopular, squish as President and no Congress.. He's not a King.. (Yet)

I don't agree that will sell out his base. Obama delivered most of what those morons who voted for him wanted. Obamacare (not a universal healthcare system, but close enough for most of them). Dodd/Frank. Liberal women judges on the SCOTUS. And so on. No, he didn't close Gitmo and he didn't raise taxes on the rich (yet). But Obama is a Liberal to the core, unless someone can show evidence that he isn't. I thought we all agreed he was a failed, Liberal idiot.

I don't know what will do - nobody does. I find it hard to believe that he would take the job intentionally sabatoging himself and guaranteeing no re-election.

The Rs may be swept out of power anyway. Have you seen their approval ratings? And if Paul got in instead, how would he improve their ratings? If polls are to be believed, the Rs are in big trouble anyway, and isn't the cause of that.

We have to agree to disagree that Obama being in office another 4 years is in any way a positive thing.

Where's my damn palimony check?

None of the republicans present the danger to our country that Obama does. They are NOT the same.
