People cheat. People steal. It drives me nuts. it's encouraged, condoned, venerated, and drilled like a lesson (watch commercial tv for an hour) 'ima get over on ya and ima look cool doin' it.' |

Ancient Greece, not today's greece. Also Rome, Mayans, Aztecs, Egyptians, modern Europe. History consistently proves that when liberal thought takes hold, the civilizations crumble. Liberal thought in this context means the people becoming dependent on the government. conservatism gone mad. formidable, disciplined, purposed, yet victims of their own mythology. |

the rich/poor thing is being overplayed by the left. Its part of the class warfare plan to divide us and give obozo 4 more years to complete his destruction of our country. The middle class is doing just fine and growing. Many of them have been hurt by the libtardian policies over the last few years, but the wealth gap thing is bullshit. Now crucify me. I care not. These are facts, and you'll see how it all turns out too. And when the touch paper is lit, you can sit and chant 'Bullshit! Bullshit! Bullshit!' as everything crashes down around your ears. Won't that be nice? |

I know. This is poison to a Conservative. Spin it any way you want, Rocat. 3% own 80%. Most of that hereditary. Millions of people living below the poverty line. The gap widens annually. It has fuck all to do with Obama. The simple fact is, people won't starve on principle. At whatever point trade and other policies result in a sea of the disenfranchised, they'll get their socialism. We need growth policies that benefit everyone. |

There's also the economic angle to consider, for a thorough appraisal. "Zomg!!! look how much they have compared to me!!!!"........I hear that a lot. I currently have 18 people working for me. I should make much more than they do. I'm invested here. They aren't. Do you agree so far? Now, Of those 18 people working for me........18 have a more expensive cell phone and cell phone package, than I do. I have a more expensive vehicle.....but it's paid for. I have a lower insurance rate, because my driving record is clear, and I don't have to have full coverage. I spend about 18 hours a day, usually 7 days a week at work. They each spend between 30-40. When their day off comes, they go party.....or watch a movie, or go out and eat. I end up here, working. I don't go play that much. So my costs for fun things, is much lower than theirs. Now, I have cable at home, basic that is. They have hbo, max, and other movie channels. So again, I pay less. If I want to watch a movie, I'll Netflix it, or wait till it comes out.....they will rush down to the movies, and pay 30 bucks for a movie and a drink. So.....again, they pay more. They work less hours.....and they spend more. So of course at the end of the day, I'll have more than they will. Partly because I own the business, and party (a LARGE part), because they do not budget what money they have. I'll save up my money and time, and take a cruise for a week or two for my fun time........they'll take their fun times whenever the mood strikes them. Which one of us is living smarter? I don't begrudge those that have more than I do, and I'm not interested in some vague 'wealth gap' shit. If someone's got more than I do, then props to them, why should I give a shit? I'm fine. If I end up making less in the future, I'll cut back as needed, and I'll still be fine. A HUGE part of this wealth gap nonsense, is simply that people WANT, and SPEND, and take no responsibility for their actions. IMVHHO. |
