The feminists are happy.
That's because they're stupid.. Stupid people are always happy.

Everyone should go on disability, food stamps and any other type of entitlements you can possibly get ... Uh, that's going to happen.. It's a very likely outcome.

Imagine doing the math on a college education and a career which will effectively makes you the funding mechanism for all of this, VS a lower paying, non-college job and benefits?

Yes.. It is going to be very difficult to undo.. I doubt the Republicans will make a serious attempt at it.

Plus, there's a fuckload of money here for big corporations..

I suspect a number of Republicans secretly support this.. It was a "conservative" idea from the onset.. It has been implemented by a Republican Governor..

They are all thralls to big insurance..
Those of us who are old enough, remember republicans demanding a public mandate when Clinton floated an employer mandate

Yeah.. I remember. That's why I suspect they are quietly applauding this.

I support de-linking insurance from employment (The links were only made because the tax structure and reasonable costs of healthcare made it attractive) but I don't support it like this..

This is a nightmare in the making.

Any time you're relying on government for cost controls (Which are the WHOLE FUCKING PROBLEM WITH HEALTH CARE NOW) you KNOW you're in trouble..

Toss some big corporations into the mix and it's a disaster.. It's doomed to fail.

As I understand it, it was industry that brought it into the mix because it was more cost effective to offer insurance than monitory raises in collective bargaining.

My country is slowly turning into the U.S.S.A (united socialist states of america). :-( What would good ol' George Washington say about this?

An omnipresent daddy state is insultive for all freedom loving people.

Well, the tax structure favored it.. So, they did.

I never liked tying employment to healthcare anyway.. I mean, who needs their fucking healthcare more than someone who is between jobs?

And they're TRIED to patch this before.. COBRA, anyone?

I can't afford that shit.. It's unbelievably expensive.. Which is the same problem with Medicare.. and the same problem that is going to consume this plan too..

Just like education costs.. Just like everything government touches..

They just can't control costs with edicts from corrupt politicians to their corrupt donors..

It won't work.. It's gonna belly flop big time.

The govt has never done anything economically or efficiently. obamacare, if not shot down by SCOTUS, will completely destroy our economy.

Yeah.. Their "core competency" certainly isn't in cost containment..

They can't do anything efficiently or cheaply. It's simply not in their nature..

This is going to be a slow motion debacle..

Especially if they just strike down the mandate and keep all else intact.
Which will be very tempting..

The most dangerous idea in the world is "Well, if everyone just pays a little.. then.. "
