Spliff, just curious - how will Newt Gingrich repeal it? With a simple stroke of a pen? Newt was all for a national mandate - you do know that, right? And a decade before
This wasn't about Newt, But he has clarified his position on a universal mandate... |

Newt was in favor of the mandate. His position was already clear.
So what you're saying Spliff is that you think Romey, if elected as POTUS, will get in office and immediately shut down the GOP-controlled Congress (and hopefully GOP-controlled Senate) when they come to him to start whacking away at Obamacare, thereby ensuring that his chances of a second term are 0 percent. That's his plan? ![]() Just curious why you think that. Because that's the reality - and you'd have to be a fool not to know that. ![]() Please convince me why ![]() |

Newt was... for a mandate or posting of a bond, He doesn't support the concept of "free riders" with zero financial accountability.
Newt has clarified his position though, " A federally imposed mandate is unconstitutional" (is he sincere ?...who knows) He flipped positions conviently... Like Mitt, Who supported the massacre of babies, but now he loves them all. Its just as likely that the 0bamacare structure will be revised under an establishment Republican run House/Senate... No way in hell is ![]() ![]() The right wing base be damned ! ![]() |

The paulistas rant about states rights and then complain about a clear case of a state making a decision for itself. They are as hypocritical as the dem/libs on this issue. |
