I've just read several articles suggesting may fall flat on his face if he tries to make ObamaCare an issue against Obama.

These quotes from that debate keep popping up:

A good conservative believes that states should have more power and be more in control of spending. Ron Paul believes almost everything should go back to the states. That's exactly what did - create a program for the state he was Governor of. What's wrong with that? I would think any Paul supporter, or real conservative, would embrace what he did. If you don't live in Massachusetts, it wouldn't impact you at all, would it?

A good conservative believes that states should have more power and be more in control of spending. Ron Paul believes almost everything should go back to the states. That's exactly what did - create a program for the state he was Governor of. What's wrong with that? I would think any Paul supporter, or real conservative, would embrace what he did. If you don't live in Massachusetts, it wouldn't impact you at all, would it?

Health care for all uninsured , paid for by a government, via taxpayers.

Spliff, just curious - how will Newt Gingrich repeal it? With a simple stroke of a pen? Newt was all for a national mandate - you do know that, right? And a decade before did it in MA, too.

did it in MA, and nowhere else. If conservatives say states should have their own programs of this type (dictatrorial in application? you do know it looked nothing like his original plan by the time the legislature in MA got their hands on it, yes?), why would any conservative presume to comment on what a state imposes on itself, not impacting those of us who don't live there in any way?

congress could repeal it. If the SCOTUS rules the mandate portion unconstitutional, it will effectively be repealed by that action. It is terrible legislation and must be overturned.

If Congress is hell bent on repealing Obamacare, can't stop them, even if he wanted to stop them - and there's no indication that he would stop them. If Paul attempts to repeal it without Congress' approval, they will stop him dead in his tracks.

Axlerod knows about healthcare. When Michelle Obama had her make work job at the University of Chicago Hospital he helped her engage in patient dumping. Seems they did not want the great unwashed in "their" hospital when they could be shipped to other hospitals thus making room for those with money.
