Under , Massachusetts dramatically underperformed the rest of the nation in terms of job growth. has been criticized by experts for failing to deliver on issues of business development and economic growth after selling himself as the “CEO governor.” 2006 report issued by quasi-public Massachusetts Technology Collaborative warned the state was losing its grip as leader in “innovation economy” and that tech job growth was alarmingly slow. left his successor to fill a budget deficit exceeding $1 billion. raised state fees and taxes more than $700 million per year, according to independent experts. raised fees by roughly $500 million in his first year alone, a figure that was highest in the nation. quadrupled gun licensing fees and raised fees on first responders, real estate transactions, the blind, golfers and many others. Massachusetts’ state and local tax burden rose more than 7% during ’s administration. refused to endorse the Bush tax cuts in 2003, telling the state’s all-Democrat congressional delegation he wouldn’t be a cheerleader for the plan. implemented three rounds of tax changes (which he referred to as “closing loopholes”) which increased business taxes by an estimated $400 million per year. No, I got that stuff from the John McCain 2008 Campaign Playbook for opposing . And again, which is better, 4 more years of obama incompetence and socialism or one of the GOP candidates pledged to repeal obamacare and balance the budget? |

I thought McCain was a lying asshole masquerading as a conservative. Now you consider his every word to be gospel? I told you the truth about where I got that information. I thought that's what you were looking for. Seriously, Bub. You're behaving like a nut. |

Where do these outbursts come from? Seriously. You just make things up and act like I said them? You are an obama supporter aren't you ? You are systematically trying to destroy every GOP candidate except the one who has ZERO chance of winning (RP). Who are you really, hiawatha? |

And again, which is better, 4 more years of obama incompetence and socialism or one of the GOP candidates pledged to repeal obamacare and balance the budget? Now, he has said he supports a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution. Which is odd, since according to his spending plan, that would necessitate massive tax increases. But that''s neither here nor there. Because there will not be a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution. There aren't the votes for it, nor will there be anytime soon. It's a moot point. Now, as to Obamacare. It isn't going to be repealed. The Republicans will not have the filibuster-proof majority needed to get it through the Senate. They can probably get away with removing certain parts of it, even some major parts of it, through the reconciliation process, which requires only a simple majority. That is, assuming that the Republicans pick up 4 seats this year, which is certainly possible. |

He has not pledged to balance the budget. His plan does nothing to balance the budget. Remember that. Even the Ryan Plan, which he supports, does not balance the budget for almost 30 years. I have news for you two clowns, the people CAN do it. Your fatalistic cave-in attitude is sickening. GROW SOME BALLS! |

Sounds like you, like Hoffa, are giving up and throwing in the towel. "we can't do it" "its too hard" "can't overcome the dems" 's not him. |

Overcoming dems with a liberal Republican is meaningless. If the Republican Party had a REAL Conservative candidate, you would be excited by him, we would be excited by him, the rest of America would be excited by him and he would destroy Obama in a landslide!! |
