Default Bain Capital Owns Clear Channel
Wouldn't it be great if a Republican presidential candidate could just buy the support of just about every major conservative talk show host in America?

Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States. They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others. Well, it turns out that Bain Capital is one of the primary owners of Clear Channel.

In fairness i must say I have heard Rush, Beck, and Savage being critical of .
So I don't believe them to be totally haltered.
But it does raise a troubling question.
Is Bain Capital's ownership of Clear Channel and Premiere benefiting ?

Can one endorse a candidate by not directly endorsing them..i.e. by attacking the competition?
By a form of stealth promotion?
Could it be so sophisticated that it would be hard to detect?

It's best to run all media through an internal filter of skepticism.
Otherwise you could end up like one of the fawning acolytes of Lawrence O'Donnell.

When I read the title of this thread the other day.
It made me wonder a little bit.

However, anti ads involving the Bain issue have been airing on the radio.

Bain Capital bought Clear Channel in 2008. You may want to check your history books, but wasn't at Bain in 2008.

This post reminds me of the Liberals making accusations of implication about Cheney and Halliburton, many years after Cheney was gone.

It reminds you of that because it's along the same vein. Many Paulites are just as robotic and unthinking as Obamaniacs. The OP is a prime example. It's fucking creepy.

Well, there goes the, "all their investments failed," theory. Clear Channel was already already alarming without this present political drama. More than that, they are a conglomerate of boredom police. Everything will be formatted to the lowest common denominator. That is what satisfies most people, and that is all you will get, because we own them fucking all!

Yes, because commercial influence has never had any influence upon the political process, ever.

It gets worse. There are Israelis Military ties to BAIN. Thus ClearChannel can be seen as a tool for Israelis interests. The Israelis octopus has its tentacles in many places. If we don't start getting Ron Paul types into office we will lose our Republic. BTW Jim Rome of Premiere Radio is a Jew. That blew me away.

"Sept. 14, 2003: On NBC's Meet the Press, Cheney said, "And since I left Halliburton to become George Bush's vice president, I've severed all my ties with the company [Halliburton], gotten rid of all my financial interest. I have no financial interest in Halliburton of any kind and haven't had, now, for over three years." But the vice president conveniently forgot to mention that he continues to receive from the company deferred salary of over $150,000 per year while maintaining 433,333 shares of unexercised stock options."
