Default A Serious Question For the Ron Paul Bashers
Why are you spending valuable time bashing Ron Paul and those of us who support him?

Seriously. Especially if you "know" he can't win anything...

Why are you not supporting your candidate, and arguing why everyone should vote for him/her, like we are?

Wouldn't that be a much more fruitful, productive use of your time?

Seriously. You can't win an election being "against Ron Paul". It doesn't work that way.

Where are the supporters?

Where are the Gingrich supporters?

Why are you not helping your candidate?

Those are valid questions, Jeshu.

I suppose they are afraid that RP will pull votes away from their candidate.

I'm sure he will, if we're the only people publicly supporting someone...

I'm sticking my neck out. Most every day. Way back when it was absurd to stick it out, I was sticking it out.

I'll respect you a whole lot more if you make your case, even if I disagree.

Start your own thread if that's what you want to talk about.

So, who's your candidate? And why are you ignoring them?

Responding to this thread means I'm ignoring my candidate so I'll refrain.

Red. Who do you want to be President? And why?

I don't have to vote for Ron Paul. I live in Pennsylvania, and he may be out of it by the time our Primary happens. So who should I vote for?

So Jes, to you, having reality and truth told about RP means Bashing? ... a waste of time? If your so confident about RP and his chances of becoming President, then why are you whining? Where is your confidence? You sound like OWEBlamer! Or is it that you, like OWEblamer, have your own doubts? Is it because you now knnow about RP's faults and need to lash out and find fault with others? I think so. You should be more like your candidate. At least RP is standing tall and taking criticism like a man, but you? Not so much.

You've missed the point completely. Chances are, you and I agree on most things and would get along in real life. But we have this goofy fight happening over Ron Paul. So why not have a conversation about who you like and who I like and why and so on and so forth?

You're telling me Ron is a bad choice. OK. But you're not telling me who is a good choice. See what I mean?

I have given you my reasons why I don't like the guy. I'm pretty sure I've been vocal about my reasons for what I don't like about the other candidates as well. I don't have a favorite. I'm not impressed with any of them. I think Perry is the least worst, and it makes me sad to write that. None of them inspire me. But then again, I don't want to be inspired by a politician. I want somebody who is capable and who does what they say they will do.

This thread is not about you. I love you. I know where you stand, and why, for the most part.

I started another thread about you.

Amen. That's exactly why I love Ron Paul. He says, "I'll do nothing for you, and more importantly, I'll do nothing against you."

That's a recipe for success, as far as I (we?) are concerned....
