The Caller ID showed Newt 2012

He played a recorded clip of 3 or 4 minutes then a person picked up and asked for a contribution. I agreed and asked for some info to be mailed to me.

Claudia read a prepared statement and when I interrupted her and said I would contribute, it messed her all up. She insisted on reading everything in front of her even after I agreed to send some dough. Kinda funny. She also took my email addy and asked for some volunteer help locally. She wasn't real bright.

It was probably Saara.

Campaign workers are usually not very bright. Hell, why beat around the bush? Most of the people we deal with are not very bright. Sometimes it's frustrating being at the far end of the Bell Curve.

The Campaign worker reminded me of that commercial where the credit card guy says his name is 'Peggy'. I wasn't sure of her gender but since she said her name was Claudia, I called her ma'am.
