Who hired him to begin with? Was he overweight then? Why call him names and degrade him when she could have simply cut his hours or something. There are many ways that employers can get rid of employees legally. She sounds like a nasty bitch and needed a whipping post.

Should you

1) Ignore his fatness, and demand that your customers do so too?

2) Falsify something, like 'hey he stole', and use that as ground for firing?

3) Talk to him, and try to get him to shed some weight, so he's not an embarrassment to your business?


Option 1= you go out of business, due to loss in sales

Option 2= morally wrong, and possibly illegal

Option 3= You get sued.

It was a buy out.......

A new company (owner) bought the business....and the staff stayed.

We had a thread a couple weeks ago, about how some businesses are FORCED to retain staff, in buy outs.

Could be that?
