One or two drinks won't affect most people. One hit off a joint will fuck you up for days or weeks on end.
how do you know?

That's common knowledge. You refuse to admit it, of course, because you're stoned/drunk all the time.

It's only a drug when used to excess.
What you're attempting to clarify is the concept of toxicity, which in any case is dependent upon a number of factors.

Alcohol is a drug, irrespective of dosage.

I do not drink and I do not use any drugs. I have been sober for quite a long time but I have done both in my youth.

You'd have to be stoned to say that.

He forgot that.........he's stoned.
Between being stoned and amnesia, it's gotta be an uphill struggle.

(PhysOrg.com) -- It appears that when it comes to teen brain development, parents should be more worried about alcohol abuse than marijuana abuse. Two recent studies have been published showing that alcohol -- a legal substance (though not legal for teens in the U.S.) -- is considered more dangerous than marijuana, which is illegal in many countries. http://www.physorg.com/news157280425.html

There are actually health BENEFITS to drinking in moderation. I don't drink AT ALL and even I know this.

Throw in black-outs and dementia and that will explain why he starts the same exact threads each day.

Yeah, responsible drinking is much more harmful than smoking an illegal substance that has about five times the amount of carcinogens as tobacco.

There are health benefits to occasional heroin use, too.

By the way, I'm enjoying a nice frosty beer right now. Yummy!

An end to chronic pain. That's a good thing.

Yeah, but only if it's administered in hospitals. I'm talking about junkies who inject it several times a day just to feel good.

No, that's not true. You suddenly reversed your long standing argument that all drug use is bad and updated it to 'drugs are OK in moderation'.

And doctors prescribe pain killing opiates all the time that don't require being administered in a hospital.

Your feeble house of cards is crashing down around you.

Okay, those are administered by doctors. I'm talking about unregulated heroin that's cut with any sort of stuff injected by junkies whose arms look like a connect-the-dots puzzle.
