I don't know that there is a point anymore if there ever was. But the pols have played this out poorly, thinking more about their own carreers than their duties to uphold the law. These kids should have been forced to leave after two or three days. Taking over city streets, impacting business, public sex, drug use and defecation are all illegal everywhere in this country. Yet not a single mayor has stood up to these punks. Someone has to declare the party is over and clean this shit up asap.
